Products: Day Kits

A Reliable, Cost-Effective Alternative to Purchasing and Maintaining Inventory

Nexa's Day Kit program offers a solution to surgical facilities that wish to avoid stocking implants and investing in procedure specific instrument systems. Day Kits are available for each of our surgical product systems.

In response to a Day Kit request, we send implants and instrumentation in quantities sufficient to support the procedure in time for the scheduled case. When the case is complete, you simply ship the unused product back to us using the pre-prepared shipping documents. We then bill your facility for any product used plus nominal processing and shipping charges.

The Day Kit program is ideal for facilities that only occasionally perform these procedures, or for a surgeon who would like to try a product a few times before asking their facility to invest in inventory. Of course, once the cases increase or you have decided on an implant to stock, an inventory purchase may be a more cost-effective solution.

Using a Day Kit is simple:

  • Call us at (800) 835-8480 or fax a Day Kit order form with the product required for the procedure, the facility, the scheduled surgery date and any special requirements.

  • In a secured container a few days prior to the scheduled procedure, we will ship a complete set of implants and the associated specialty instruments necessary for the procedure. The instruments are provided in a clean, but not sterile, condition.

  • Return the unused items in the kit to us per the instructions below. We will invoice for the items not returned upon receipt of the Day Kit.

  • Day Kits are subject to terms and conditions of use. First-time customers will be requested to review and acknowledge these terms and conditions. Please contact us for additional information.


Instructions for Returning Day Kits

  • Day Kits are to be returned within three days following the scheduled procedure.

  • Contents must be returned in original container with original foam tray holder.

  • Re-pack container with all instruments, sizers, and remaining implants.

  • All instruments must be clean and sterilized before shipment.

  • Complete pre-paid FedEx airbill and affix to container.

  • Use enclosed cable ties to secure container.

  • If you do not have a regularly scheduled pick up from FedEx, please call FedEx at (800) 463-3339 to schedule a pick up at your facility.
