The Compression Pin combines the compressive strength of a screw with the ease of inserting a pin. Nexa partnered with leading extremity surgeons to design the pin, and released it in March 2006. Its variable-pitch threads and tapered stainless steel construction give it 64% greater compressive strength than a regular dual-threaded cannulated screw. Performing osteomies and fusions with the Compression Pin is a simple three-step procedure, which saves OR time.

Benefits

  • Variable pitch, tapered profile and buttress threads offer greater compression.
  • Stainless steel for optimal strength.
  • Self-drilling and self-tapping for ease of insertion.
  • Three simple steps save OR time.

Indications
For osteotomies, fusions, and fractures of small bones.
